June 2014, I had recently lost my husband, I was in the bowels of depression and my family was taking a vacation to Alaska.  My grandparents were so wonderful and took the entire family on a trip to see Alaska, one of their favorite places, for their 60th wedding anniversary.  We explored Denali National Park, rode trains throughout the countryside (my favorite part) and cruised to the different Alaskan ports.  The wilderness was exciting and the views were spectacular.
