The Holy Land! In the Fall of 2011 my family visited the birthplace of our religion, Israel.  It proved to be one of the most inspirational and truly spiritual trips I have ever taken.  Not only did I see where Jesus was born, died and was buried, but I experienced the ancient history of the Jewish and Christian faiths.  This alone was inspiring but the landscape only heightened my experience.  Masada was particularly special and became the subject of many of my shots; the ancient town with the crumbling walls with a background of the Dead Sea was just breathtaking.  This trip has left me with not only lasting memories but a more fully realized spirituality and understating of my religion.
